Short Punks in Love is a Chicago-based duo made of a guitarist and drummer whose music has been described by Michael Teach, producer of the Chicago Acoustic Underground, as "70s New York sound." Inspired not only by Lou Reed and Velvet Underground but also Bob Dylan and 80's power pop icon, Paul Westerberg, SPiL offers an unusual blend of folk and power pop.
